Overview

Currently, I am involved in three projects: Truesign, Pratu and a new FA project. All three projects are in different stages, and I am involved in different position. The opportunity given to me, to be able to involve and try out different roles in different projects has been able to give in insights that I would not have experienced otherwise.
As the days pass, my team and I have faced many different hurdles and situations where we are unfamiliar with, during the making of the product, when we are facing external vendors such as marketing, development, or other afflicted parties. There are lots of times where the team felt that we are unable to pass through or excel in such a situation. However, with the team working as determined as ever, we are able to conquer these different situations and if not, make the best out of them. These challenges allow us to grow and improve on our qualities and understand what to do when facing different adversities.
Current Status of Different Projects
Truesign
(A reminder of what Truesign is)
Truesign is a digital signing mobile application that keeps document on a blockchain database, tracks and transmits these documents through blockchain and distributed ledger technology application.
For Truesign, the ongoing process of non-stop adjusting the application to fit best to the customer profile continued. We have created the base application on android, the bare minimum functionality of the intended application has been completed.
Currently, there is a direction to bring and perfect the application before the official launch of the product to the public market.
We also have plans to raise more fund through different initiative or offering by NTU or by the Government of Singapore, such as the SGfounders. We are prepping for the application and has been gathering feedback on the PowerPoint and its application of it.
Pratu
(A brief reminder of what Pratu is)
Pratu is a gateway for investment in fractionalized property. Investors are able to invest in real property for a fraction of a price as compared to a whole property.
As for Pratu, the website hosting the platform has been created and shown live to the public. Public members are able to browse for different properties on the website and look up the details of these different listings. We are preparing for the official launch of it, with some Thai Agents coming on board, brokering deals that are listed on the website.
Currently, we are fixing up some bugs and improving the website based on the suggestion after the agents use the website, in order to make sure that the experiences of the website are optimal.
We have plans to expand on the project, offering different design of the product, along with the input from the property developers, we have settled on a long-term plan for the product targeting different types of audience and potential investors to invest in the product that we provide.
FA Project
The FA project was a new project that was the initial idea that the program offered, however, with the complexity of the rules and regulation involving private equity funds, a decision to delay this project until the team have some experience under their belt has been made. The project that was pushed to the front was Truesign.
Now that the experience of developing and being involved in a project has been made, the project FA was brought up again.
The project aims to target accredited investors and institutional investors (excluding US citizens), where we tokenize the private equity funds and offer them on the platform for the investors to invest on.
With the complexity of the equity funds, the set-up of the platform has proven to be difficult as well, with the introduction to blockchain, we wanted to provide some form of authentication online as compared to the traditional, legal advisor authentication. There is others complication such as requirements of the investors. Who is able to use the platform? And many other areas to look out for.
The project is targeting an audience base where perfection is the norm, therefore, adding extra pressure to the team. However, with pressure comes the challenge. The challenge that the team faces are key to our growth. The team is managing and enjoying the challenge and the pressure that comes from the project.
Lastly, I think that rarely does a fresh graduate have the chance to be involved in such different roles and different real-life project. Furthermore, having a great team to work with, numerous mentors where we could ask for advice from. The program has widened my horizon in terms of attitude, personality, standards and many more. I believe that this unique experience that I have will serve me well, wherever my next position or chapter might be and for that, I am thankful for the chance that has been given to me. Thank you.
